Our Little Climber!

Avery is really into climbing on stuff. Very fun if your the parent. She climbs on chairs and stands up straight. Then holds up her hands and smiles at you. She is so proud of herself, even when we say "NO Avery". Anyway our night Saturday consisted of getting her down from things just to have her climb right back up. Here are some pictures.

July 4th Parade

We had a fun day on Wednesday. Chris ran the Peachtree Road race and I took the girls to the Peachtree City parade with friends. The girls loved the parade and we got lots of candy!

Saturday we went to the park. We had fun, but it was really hot!

Disney World

After the beach we spent two days at Disney World. We went to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. The girls and I had a great time. Allie loved seeing the characters. Her favorite rides were the kid roller coaster and the cars. She was very excited she could drive the cars "all by myself". Avery's favorite ride was "It's A Small World". She danced and clapped through the whole ride. It was fun just watching her. Who knew a one year old could enjoy Disney so much. Chris on the other hand, says he is not cut out for Disney World. He was a good sport and he did have a good time watching the girls. We may have to drag him back in a couple of years.

Beach

We just got back from vacation. We had a great time, but we are glad to be home. Nine days away with two little kids is a long, long time. We went to Cocoa Beach, Florida with some of my family. I love the beach and it is nice to be able to spend time with family. Allie loved the pool, the beach, and playing with her cousins. My aunt's daughter, Emily and Allie are 4 days apart in age. They love to play and fight with each other. They are always very entertaining. Avery loved the pool, but the beach is a challenge with a one year old. Thankfully she was able to stay in the condo with her Pop ( my dad) some of the time. She loves her Pop. Here are some pictures from the beach trip.

Avery's Birthday

Avery is one! I can't believe it. We had a party at our house. Avery loved it. She loved the cake. (Mostly she loved squeezing it in her hands. She really made a mess. She had to be taking directly to the bath tub. Our friend Jana make the cakes. They were so cute. We had a great time with our family. I am so glad my girls have such a loving family to celebrate times like this. We are leaving for vacation tomorrow. We are going to the beach and to Disney World. I am sure I will have great pictures to post when we get back.
