Avery's First Day of Preschool

Today was Avery's first day of preschool. She did great. She has been so excited about going. We went to meet her teacher last week. She has been so excited about going back. She is also thrilled that she has "homework". They have a get to know you project and she asks me almost everyday if we can do her homework. I thought that there would be a few tears today. She has been wanting to go to preschool, but she says she wants me to stay with her. She did fine and was not even sad when I left. She had a great time. It was a nice morning for me too. I was a little sad to leave her, but I kept thinking that I better enjoy the alone time while it lasts.

Here we go. Ready for preschool!

We had ice cream for her treat after school.

Baby Update

Our new baby will be here six weeks from today. They have scheduled my C-section for October 13th. Now I have started on the many rounds of doctor visits. I have to go twice a week for the next 6 weeks. We are almost ready with everything. We had a little shower last weekend. It was so fun and I got lots of great stuff. I have a few more things I need to get done. It just seems like things are so busy with doctor visits, picking up kids, homework and all the other stuff. I am sure this 6 weeks will fly by. I have a few pictures from the shower I will post.

Avery really enjoyed helping open the presents.
Mandy made the baby some cute clothes. She made the girls shirts. They are all so cute!

Preschool...Amazing! Congrats to her. I have that swing to bring you. I guess I will pick a day and surprise you. It is in the garage and Brodie is very excited for Ms. Melanie's baby to have it. :)

Avery looks so cute for her 1st day. I'm so glad she likes it. The shower was great, can't believe little Ashtyn (or Ashton?) will be here in 6 weeks! Let me know if you need me to watch her. :)
