All Better

We laided around most of the week, but on Friday we took the girls to Chuck-E-Cheese. I really wanted to do something else, but it had rained Thursday and Friday, so it had to be an indoor activity. The girls love Chuck-E-Cheese, so they had fun. I took a few pictures, but the girls were not in the mood to stop for pictures. They had rather play. They had a good time playing and so did Chris and I. I love that ski ball game! The only bad thing was that they used to have a toddler area where Avery could climb and then slide. They took that part out. There wasn't that much that Avery could do, but she didn't care. She liked having us chase her around the play area. Allie wanted to stay and eat lunch, but we convinced her Partners had better pizza, so we went there for lunch.

This was Avery watching Chuck-E-Cheese sing on stage. She really liked it.

Well, It seems like everyone is sick. Allie and I got sick this weekend. I rarely get sick, but this has been bad. We have both been running a fever and generally feeling terrible. I don't excatly know how, but Avery and Chris seemed to have escaped it so far. Avery does have a runny nose and so she has been a little grumpy. The worst part is that Chris and Allie are out of school this week, so we had planned to go to Memphis to visit with Mark and Mandy. We were hoping could get well and leave on Monday, but that didn't happen. So we have been stuck in the house. It is starting to drive me a little crazy. We have been well taken care of though. Peggy send us home some fried chicken and mashed potatoes on Sunday (Thanks Peggy). Then, Jodi brought over a delicious meal last night. Along with some of the best brownies I have ever had! (Thanks Jodi) Maybe, that is why we are feeling better today. Allie had to go back to the doctor today. She is now on an antibotic, so maybe she will feel better soon and we can get out of here a little bit! I hope everyone else that is sick is better soon also.

Valentine's Day

I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day.

Here are the girls opening up their Valentine's gifts from us. Look at Avery's concentration!

It sure is hard to get a good picture of both of them together. This was the best I could do.

Allie had a party at school. They decorated cookies.

Avery went with me to the party . She loves to play in the classroom.

Parent's Day at Preschool
They have a parent's day at preschool, where parents come to visit. They had snacks and we went to Allie's classroom. She made us gifts for Valentine's Day. Here are a few pictures.

Daddy with his girls.

I thought this was a funny picture. Remember how I was saying I can't get a good picture of them together, well this is more proof. As soon as I sat Avery down she hit Allie in the head(on purpose and for no reason). This was the reason for the pouty face from Allie.

A day at the park

Today was a beautiful day here, so we went to the park down the street. Avery really enjoyed it. Last fall she was just learning to get around and this time she was climbing on everything. So you know what that means. I had to climb a lot too. She used to not like the swing, but today she loved it. Allie loves the park, so she had a great time. She was also excited that I let her wear her Auburn cheerleading outfit. I bet she puts that cheerleading outfit on 5 times in a week. She loves it. She wants to wear it outside all the time, but it has been too cold. So today she finally got to wear it somewhere other than in the house. I tried to get a good picture of the two of them together, but I decided that it is impossible.

Rambo

Well, It has been a while since my last post, but not much has been going on. I also was without a camera for a while. Anyway, I thought I would share what I did today. A while back, Chris got a handgun. So he has been wanting me to go to the shooting range with him. Well, his mom kept the kids today, so we did some shopping and went to the gun range. What a date. I know. I was not really excited about the range. I am not a fan of guns. It is very loud and a little scary to be in a room with 10 people shooting guns, but after a while it was kind of fun. I was unsure what to expect and nervous about the kick since it is a .40 caliber. It wasn't too bad. I shot at two targets. We kept one since it was my first time shooting a gun. I pretty much hit the target, but I don't think I will be the next Rambo!
