Coweta County Fair

We went to the fair Thursday night. I thought that it was going to rain us out, but the rain held off and we had a great time. We went with Mandy, Mark, Ethan, little Nina, Mrs. Justice, Mr. Justice, Chris, Heather, Gracie, and Hayden. Allie and Avery loved it! Allie really enjoyed the rides. Her favorites were the big slide and this ride that goes around really fast and then goes backwards really fast. I didn't think she was going to like it, but she loved it. (Thanks to Mandy for riding with her! I would have been sick!) And thanks to Mark who rode a lot with Allie. I rode the big slide with her, but hate rides that go around and around. Allie had fun with Ethan and Gracie. Avery and Hayden seemed to have fun just looking around at everything. They can ride more next year. Avery and I did ride the carousel. She thought it was great.

Allie and Avery dancing to the band that was playing.

Allie and Gracie on the roller coaster. Allie said "I hate that ride!"

Feeding the Ducks

We went to feed the ducks. I had my camera so I took a few pictures. The girls loved it. Allie is pretending the ducks are her pets. She was naming them all. She thinks she really wants a pet, but I am not ready for that. She has two fish, but I don't guess fish are that much fun. This may be wrong, but when I change that nasty fish water, I think I wouldn't be so bad if the fish went to fish heaven!

Arlington Football

This weekend we went to an Arlington football game. It is very weird to see football at Arlington. It was a lot of fun. The team looked really good and they won! Allie loves it. Mostly she loves the cheerleaders. They are very sweet to her. She even did a little cheering from the sidelines.

Pledge of Allegiance ?????

I guess Allie was learning the Pledge of Allegiance at pre-school yesterday. She seems to have gotten it confused with a memory verse. She came home and said. "I can say my memory verse". Then she said. " The Lord is America, Invisible, Re-Publix, for evil, Galatians 39:40. " So I said the pledge and she was very impressed that I knew it. I guess she still has a lot of work to do.

Preschool

Allie started 4 year old preschool today. She is going to the same school as she did last year. She was not really excited about it. She loved her teachers last year and was not happy about having new ones. She kept telling us that she wasn't going. I was expecting a little bit of crying, but she didn't. She asked to take her "Bunny"(a blanket that she has slept with since she was a baby). She said "It will make me feel better." So Allie and Bunny went to school and she had a good day. She liked it a lot ( I knew she would).
